At our local pride, there was the typical right wing conservative group spewing religious hate, and what did I do? I stood up on the cement block in front of them with a large pride flag, blocking them from view. Did they continue to yell into the megaphone right by my ear, yes, did I retaliate with violence, nope. I stood there quietly with the large group until I could no longer take the ringing in my ears, and swapped out with someone else to go enjoy the festival. They gave up less then an hour later. No one was harmed, no police were called or needed. All people did was stand there, and refuse to let them be noticed.

The more we actually physically fight back, the more we look like them, and look bad. Self defense, of course, always defend yourself, no matter the reason.

Antifa as a word holds a value of a group of people with a certain view point, non-facist doesn't. Its important not to hang over the official definition of a word, its better to use language everyone can understand without taking it the other way. Thats how division and labeling happen

Every anarchist I know is dedicated to the concept of Democracy. As a matter of fact it's a core principle of anarchism.

Right wing ideologies, especially fascism, seek to rule from the top down, and with the far right and fascism, by force. Left wing ideologies such as anarchism seek to organize democratically from the bottom up or horizontally.

The idea is never to "Overthrow Democracy". That's just bizarre. As far as socialism, it's not the same thing as communism. If you believe that you need to study both socialism and communism a lot more closely, not to mention anarchism. you seem exceptionally misinformed about all of these things. And you also have to analyze things like communism and socialism as regards political and economic philosophy separately.
