This lady features in some short stories so far, and eventually I'll be playing her in an actual Shadowrun tabletop campaign.
She's a British shadowrunner, completely cybernetic from ribs down, though some of her internal organs are still biological. Her brain and arms have some implanted additions, and both of her eyes are artificial, though only the right one looks like it. The left one serves some very illegal purposes so it's designed to not attract attention...
Her legs and torso COULD be covered in artificial skin, but that shit's REALLY expensive, and in her line of work, it would just end up getting destroyed all the time. She's basically indentured to a huge corporation that paid for her mods and arranged for her life to be saved when her torso got blown up... They allow her to take her own jobs as she pleases but have made it clear that when they call, she must do as they say- or they'll stop her heart.
They've also threatened to remove her higher cognitive functions and turn her into a mindless sex slave if she tries to escape them... and the fact that they bothered to have heinously expensive re-grown girl parts installed is a constant reminder of that. Friendly types, them.

My naming convention is to find a word that describes her character or personality, and try and find words which relate to it which can give her an interesting name. For example, I named my sisters female Death Knight Haemovix, because she's Blood spec, hence Haemoglobin, and the Vix is the typical Dominatrix, female with power.
As for her backstory, I love what you have so far. Im not really a traditional RPG player, but I will give this Shadowrunner thing a look.

OMG, there needs to be more Shadowrun art. I loooove the shadowrun stories( not big on tabletop games, im a child of tech, so gimme a controller and im happy..but the 360 shadowrun game doesnt really do the series any justice..) hell, looong time ago I downloaded a sega genesis emulator just so I could play the lil rpg shadowrun game that I found, lol.
