This here is Charles, Charles Arthursson a red panda and proud geek born and raised on the colony world of Seshat and main character of my ‘Daily life with Anthroid Girls’ story which features the April, Penelope and Balanca anthroids seen in previous pictures in this folder.

Charles is 24 years old and a student at Thoth University where he is studying courses in both artificial intelligence coding/programing and Robotic Engineering. He owns a house in the suburbs near by the campus and lets out two of his rooms to fellow students as borders to help him pay the bills.

This Red Panda’s story really began when he came across the deactivated and damaged form of the Jackal Gynoid April after she had been reprogramed, used and thrown away by the tech guys at her previous place of employment.

Though they were a more common sight on the street and in the work place than they used to be, Anthroids were still an expensive commodity and one that interested him greatly. Charles thought he could rebuild and repair the non-functional Gynoid as a project for school managing to drag her powered down body back to his car and then drive her to the safety of his home where he could begin his work.

He worked for weeks on April, repairing and or replacing damaged and missing parts of her internal structure and chassis with whatever he could fabricate in the make shift robotics lab he had down in the basement of his home, combing through the code of her corrupted A.I. core trying to restore her primary functions and personality.

In the end he was able to get her functioning once again though because her A.I. core had been overwritten by whoever had left her in that alley for him to find and the physical damage it had suffered necessitated it no longer run at full power she awoke as a different bot than she had once been.

He managed to draw out portions of her old personality coding from her hard drives and combine it with the rewritten personality to create a hybrid, a balance between the two extremes. What he got when she awoke was a loving, caring and very affectionate if somewhat simple Jackal bot who wanted to do everything she could to make her new master’s life better and easier.

Rebuilding her had been quite an adventure, Charles was sure that his efforts in reconstructing and reprograming April would earn him at the very least a passing grade in his classes, and he appreciated her enthusiastic desire to help around the house. His borders certainly enjoyed having the beautiful bot around, but what that young red panda didn’t realise at the time was that his Anthroid adventures were only just beginning.
