Alien invasions during WW2 (spoiler)

A little fan-art comparing two alien species who (in their novels) find earth during ww2.
The Race character is random, while the Quozl is a less strict and more "fast" version of my portrayal of Looks-at-Charts
(you can see other pics of both here:https://www.furaffinity.net/view/23930598/

I enjoyed both the stories, and I found amusing a series of parallelism/reversed situations!
1) Both races are similar to earth anthropomorphic animals (reptiles/lizard/chamaleons vs rabbits/bunnies).
2) Both desire to establish colonies on Earth and find us during the Second World War.
3) Both did not expected humans to be as they are (The Race planned a military invasion against Middle-age humans, Quozl had no idea of our existance.
4) Both novels include Point of view of the alien species
5) Both novels include time when the alien and the humans manage to get along and became friends on individual level.
(SPOILER SPOILER )
1) The Race is militaristic and imperialist as much as Quozl are pacifists.
2) The Race individuals find human emotive and sexual behavior gross and excessive, while Quozl believe humans to be too much sexually repressed.
Ironically... the Race bear no clothes, while Quozl are clothed lol.
AND (double irony) the Race when occurs mating season experiences true... "orgies" lol, while Quozl despite their promiscuity have offspring with someone they know/care.
3) Despite the whole elements of conflict (open warfare between the Races and the human nations, secret existance of Quozl colony even putting lives at risk), the solution of such conflicts is centered on... sex xD
4) Despite all the appearences: humans ends more likely to keep a peaceful/successful future with the Race (at the end of the novels, the balance is upset and a political solution is near), the Quozl "secret benevolant invasion" hints a future where humanity will BELIEVE to lead ... while we will just be a tool for further Quozl expansions and their military arm...
So.... never trust the cutie lol
Comments and opinions are extremely welcome ^^

Been too long since I read about Quozl. otherwise very nice. The race's problem is they believed a theory proven time and time again humans broke it. By said theory and every other race they'd encountered and conquered 500yrs is nothing in terms of development and they were almost right. A century sooner and they'd found things much more to their liking
Ooooh some other reader! Yep haha... and considering how they enjoy brooding over things, that's one point each single Race POV of the whole series keep stressing and stressing as if it could change the situation xD
I suggest you to read (or re-read) Quozl: I really enjoyed the book, even as i stressed here and on a earlier attempt of fan-art, I kept in mind a quite different version of the alien portrayal copared to the book-cover.

Hehe that's cool! x3 Not many folk know about them... I enjoyed the WorldWar saga, even if honestly I enjoyed more the first series than the second one (even if the second series had some cool moments).
I strongly suggest you to read Quozl then: even if I have to say the artist representation I gave it's a bit my vision of the race (quite different from the goofy/cartoonish ones of the cover <-<)

Oh cool, my schedule for books to read is quite full, but i am ever up reading other scifi with anthropomorphic aliens and book following their point of view (and if there is bits of sexuality is even better xd) i hears about a series with lions-like aliens, i have the name noted
Ah you should! They are interesting for some elements, a bit less for others. Best books are the first ones, because later it include a bit a larger amount of nationality clichè or absolutely pointless characters POV (characters who die without adding much).
The Race it's a species heavily driven into imperialism and it's strongly rooted (with few exceptions or defectors) but at the end of the books they are a bit in a crisis: despite the conflict ending in a draw (the Race control large swath of continents, but human nations retained their independence), the human development it's showing signs of getting too close to the technological level of the Race.... so resuming a conflict (that included already deliberate use of nuclear weapons) it's of no use. Moreover it's interesting that at the end of the last books more and more character begun to integrate and understand each others, and the "doves" of both sides seems to have achieved more success than "hawks" position

I see.
I had a feeling that was the situation based on your overview in the description. And to my thinking, that could potentially lead to the kind of situation I was imagining: humanity and the Race being the kind of friends who mutually erode each other's moderation when dealing with the rest of the universe.

Oh no, i doubt it's something can be achieved on short or medium-term.
The war was quite devastating, and both societies changed in unexpected ways. There are Race civilians who start using hairdress as a fashion, while young humans born after war shave their heads and use tatoo. At the same time there are some Race members that integrated with this or this other nation after defecting, while there are also humans who are by now becoming citizens of the Race.
At the same time the empire and the human nations remains at odd, and interestingly human nations while sometimes helping each other are also rivals: the UK had somewhat more fascist tendencies (grew closer to Nazi Germany). By mid-XXI century the Soviet Union, the Nazi Germany and the imperialist Japan still exist as countries (even if Japan suffered greatly and the Nazi Germany sorta "softened"). The United States and Soviet Union both adquired space-travelling capabilities to reach another solar system by the end of the series.
