This is my artist attempt to reproduce what I actually saw at totality of the Great American Eclipse 2017. The Eclipse in this is closer to what I actually saw than the photos I took or have seen of a solar eclipse.
It was incredible. I had no idea it would look this amazing. I had seen a few photos that looked like this but figured they used special lenses or equipment to capture it. No, this is what you see with the naked eye.
My picture probably make the sun's corona a bit too bright but hey, what can you expect from a colored pencil artist on black card stock? ^^;
And to make the picture more interesting I added myself, Eclipsis, standing over about to do something rather naughty with my paws! Just look at the tiny airplane flying there. o3o
