well I havent done a piece in charcoal since I graduated highschool and that was 6 years ago. and honestly I'm really happy with how this came out!

just a simple lightning storm after sunset, really liked how the lighting turned out and with the bolt itself. being in idaho I see a lot of these hehe

Out of curiosity, I remember word of impressive lightning storms in your area recently, and I know Idaho has mountains & pine trees...any chance that was the inspiration? ;)
