It appears that Lyn needed the changes to help some local villagers escape sudden, violent flooding. The exceptional advantages allow Lyn to ferry villagers safely across the rushing waters to higher ground, along with many necessary supplies. Though it looks like she and some of the children are having a grand time! Any joy found in such a dire time is a very welcome relief.
Though one wonders how she'll manage to get changed back after this ordeal is over.
