He's fallen before grace, knowing that there are better places for his soul. But he had to wait to be accepted.
Now that he has been allowed amongst the angels, he looses his horns, his twisted and dark membraned wings form into beautiful icey white angel wings. The horns slowly fading as the wings form. He tests out his right one which has almost completed the transformation, his left still showing the reminants of what he was use to. He has a trial band around his tail, for the halo is further earned. Should he follow the good path, he will earn his halo, and the golden trial band will be reshaped to his rightful crown.
His paws covers his heart in prayer, his eyes looking over his shoulders to others who are more righteous than he. Can this soul prove to the others that he has the will to be a better person?

I was listening to Beautifully Broken by Ashlee Simpson (while I'm not fond of her inability to hit certain notes and mostly sounds flat, some of the songs she has are pretty catchy) and this art piece came to mind. I had to draw it. I've been working on this art piece since 5pm this evening, and I finally finished it at 12am. It's not the full size of the 9x12 paper and could be cut down about an inch all the way around. At first I was going to attempt to do it all in watercolor paints like I did "Jammin' Zabbles", but my colored pencils were talking tonight and it was worth using the colored pencils instead.
I see a couple of areas that bug me, but whatchya gonna do. I'm my own worst critique!
In any case, I'm extremely proud of this piece. AND it was a great stress release from today's not so pleasant events.
