A long time ago, the humans using magic as part of their tradition got a genius idea.
They could build huge towers that would sip into the very power lines, and these would then focus and beam their powers into the spreader-type towers, that as their name tells, would then spread this magic in the air, allowing the mages to use their powers in a far easier way!
Over time, magic was used for much more! It replaced electricity, magic becoming the main source of power in the cities! And so they had to build more of these focusing crystal towers.
Never did they expect that someday, a certain black dragon would find a way to tamper with these energy towers and redirect them towards himself. And since that day, a lot of problems rose up.
