The Magic of Cyronite
The scene shows Reptile Cynrik and King Kyle Primor.
Reptile's got a green CYRONITE crystal. What he doesn't know, these crystals channel and enhance the magic power within each life form... most of all: Reptilians (but humans can use these stones, too)!
When Reptile touches the stone... some hidden magic illuminates it. A magic, he thought he has lost for a long time.
Appearantly, Reptile still got some magic in his finger tips... and he swears to practise on magic in the future!
Yes, some of you may find similarities to an old artwork (showing Reptile and Xevon)... this is intentional. I wanted a "new version" of the old picture with a deeper meaning, more atmosphere AND most of all: with Kyle! ;)

Reptile's going to train more on the "warrior spells" and on casting these spells. This kind of stone is going to increase his physical speed and agility. So, he can fight faster!! :D
Also, he'll try to cast some small energy explosion balls... not a big deal, but it's a start. :) Ya know, just like DEVON did on "Blood Feud"

But you know what? I'm very happy that this picture DOES... evoke some feelings or ideas of that kind. Usually, I'm having a hard time drawing effective FACE EXPRESSIONS!!!!!

*returns hug* with all the computer drawn images, its hard to discern what is computer and what is traditional. honestly, if you wouldn't have said that it was done traditionally, i would not have known. that is why im so impressed with this pic.
although i cant say the same about my work, as i write, it is nice to see how well your work looks, and the comments from others never cease to make me feel all fuzzy inside.

I do like the scale work a lot, the scary teeth too, nice to see some reptilian sentient species still maintains serious predatory features.
Great sense of awe on human face, gives a sense of wonder, especially with the exquisite lighting. IMO I'd say this could serve as illustration for a novel -- or at least a short story.
