The results of the announced sillything surprises for this year's egyptian-themed Eurofurence, for
 zed,  draxi,  thaz,  blueanthroraptor,  dcuk,
 drachetto,  ridleydupree,  greekyoshi,  corvidius, and Nobbs, who sadly did not make it to EF this year.
(The colors look actually richer, but by the time I finished, the daylight of the last day before the con was already dwindling.)

So yeah, I have been playing with the little grily hot ironing pixel beads again. This time, I finally found a good way to get them more smooth and regular at he intended front side, and even flat or slightly cruved in the way I want them. On the downside I had to realize at the con that while the looked great, the gradual gentle ironing must have resulted in some of the beads only being huddled against each other tight, but apparently not fused together properly enough, so some of that connections gave way under little stress and some of the badges could not be worn properly thus. :(

Ah well, it was great fun to make them and I could make some folks giggle happy with silly goodness. :)
I would have made more, so sorry to everyone who I should and would have made one too, but I only could start three days before the con because the tan beads that were like the only color the shop I went to did not have in store did not arrive earlier, and I worked on them until the evening before driving.
