What kind of pencil do you use, and do you use harder lead or something? I was wondering if you erase all the guidelines or if you are just that good to not need any now. I started my doodling days on sticky notes, too, and I posted most of the stuff I did after starting to draw again, but I'm still practicing... my erased lines from any mistake seem to fill right back in quickly when I try to redrew some stuff.
By the way, I wanted to thank you, too, as this cute-let also inspired me to start drawing again along with Valsalia's work. Doodling scavs makes me smile.
Edit: Oh, I guess I said that before... hey, I'm tired, I forget.

The guidelines are there, they're just pretty light. They tend to just smudge into the regular lines pretty well given the way I draw but you can still see a couple of them in, for example, her left arm, along the small of her back, and on the left knee.
Also thanks, it's nice to know that my dudls inspired somebody else to exercise their own creativity =D

No problem, they're just the cutest damn silly thing, I love it.
I actually bought a .3mm pencil specifically for drawing and it's helped with making my own lines cleaner, but my guidelines still show up real easily with the lead I have in it. I'm gonna set some time aside today to draw some more, I haven't gotten a moment in 2 weeks. I am definitely gonna doodle some stuff from both you and Valsalia for the inspirations some time.

It's really less about the lead and pencil being used, the really fine point pencils and specific leads are more for when you are able to draw extremely consistent lines. Despite the ability to erase, pencils aren't actually a particularly good medium for starting out learning to draw with because they're very high-precision tools from an artistic perspective, they're just what most people use because they're readily available.
My dudls are all drawn with basically 'whatever old mechanical pencil I had lying around.' Most of the time these are .7mm Bic pencils, on occasion they're .5

I'm not exactly a beginner, I've been drawing since I was little but haven't really put my talents to use much since I was only motivated to do so a few times. I've done both digital art with my old tablet and mostly traditional pencil stuff. I draw my best with pencils, though, since I see and feel exactly where the point is touching the paper, and I am kind of a high precision drawer (see my bathlet and yaaylet doodles, tiny as a nickel)... but sometimes I end up being too much of a perfectionist.
As for the lead type, I did drafting in school, so I know harder lead types leave fainter lines, but my pencils only have basic lead which can cause some annoyances for how I draw right now. I was using a .5mm pencil, but my lines were a bit too thick for super fine details I tend to draw, so I got this .3mm pencil and it's been working great. I figure I'll get used to making much lighter lines before penciling in the final results.
I still love how you draw, and love these yinglet doodles. I figure I could do much more if I could learn to be less of a dang perfectionist about things.
Also, thanks for readin' these, I know I tend to ramble sometimes. >.>
