Personality: she is very outgoing and optimistic, necessary if she wants test subjects, but unlike other scientists with test subjects, she’s very nice to them and is as gentle as possible when handling her subjects. She can get very angry if you mess with her stuff, especially her “special gun” and her solution to deal with you isn’t a present one, I’ll explain in a paragraph or 2 from now. But I can say it involves her “special gun”.
Bio and backstory: reta was born in a family full of scientists, so its no surprise that she would follow in her familys footsteps. And over the years she surpassed the IQ of her parents, and was challenge Einstein’s intelligence. When she was still in middle school she was offered her own lab to do experiments and other things, and she accepted. And when she was a junior in high school she met up with a nerdy game duck freshman named Samantha, or Sam for short, and they became friends instantly. While she was hanging out with Sam one day they had a friendly argument about being able to shrink an object, Sam says it couldn’t be done, but reta took the challenge and started to develop her shrink ray, and Sam stayed by her side and became her lab assistant, getting her things, helping out with experiments, ect. After Sam had graduated high school reta finished her prototype shrink ray, and Sam helped her conduct the experiment. They placed a 1 inch beetle on the ground and turned on the device, the gun shot out a beam of green light at the beetle, and when everyone got there eyesight back the beetle was gone, so Sam thought that she just destroyed the bug, but reta thought otherwise. Reta got a magnifying glass and walked to the spot where the beetle was at. In the beetles perspective a single crumb was as big as a house to it, and things got worse when violent tremors shook the ground around it. Want the beetle saw was 2 titanic sandal clad feet rush to it, displacing air around the beetle, which knocked it around and in doing so broke a leg. When the tremors stopped reta's gigs sized sandals where a mere inch away from it, and reta bent down and looked through her glass. She gasped in amazement and called Sam over, and she showed her the mite sized beetle trying to run away from Rita’s titanic feet, but was making no progress to the girls. They where squeeing in excitement and Sam wanted to know what they where going to do with the nano beetle. Reta had an idea but asked Sam if she could do it, and she agreed. So with no hesitation she got up, stepped back, and slowly took her left foot out of her sandal and hovered it over the mite sized beetle. When the beetle turned around the only thing it saw was 3 titanic dirty toes lower on to it, and in a instant was smashed into green juices that got soaked up into reta's fur on her middle toe. When she got done crushing the bug she lifted her foot and held it in her hand, and Sam looked through the magnifying glass to see that any remains of the beetle where smeared on her middle toe. Reta was very excited and wanted to test it more, but Sam said that she should put a durability feature on it so she can shrink people and things and make them more durable, so after 2 weeks she finished up her mk2 version with a durability setting. And that’s where are story ends………….for now that is.
