I'm curious, is there a reason Agent Avery can only speak in "birdsong"? It's not that avian's can't speak English, so I'm curious as to why he isn't bilingual, especially with his occupation.

Also, it would seem who/whatever is impersonating Kas did their research and watched the videos themselves. I can see the bandage on his finger, from the video where he took the claw out I believe. You can't see the leg wound in that video either. And, of course, he had to show the package in that same video, so they know where and to who the discs went.

So, Is this a flashback? If it is the present, it is obviously a trap set up for this Fake. They have the videos so, they know he dead. I doubt a top level organization would not investigate things before even setting up a meeting first. Though... this is all guess work. Interested in where this is going.

Okay, this really is interesting. From the advert on the Concession comic, I kinda assumed it was going to be all grimdark Cthulhu stuff with that Joel guy. This doesn't look bad at all. The art looks much better and the writing looks solid. No idea what's going on from just the one strip but looks like it's worth a peek.
