This is nothing more than a sketch. Can't say I like it much, but, here they are... Kira & Sledge. Characters belong to- 
Beyond the sketch, I'll be transforming this peace into something I hope will blow my viewers minds. In short, this is simply the beginning to a much larger piece that I'll be painting. *Shrugs* Unfortunately, I want say what I'll be doing until I'm ready to display everything in one go... until then, wish me luck.

It's, Kira... well, the tail anyways. Also, would it be a stretch to assume that sledge is a, Pharaoh Hound? I ask because, Kira, looks more, Jackal, then Sledge does. Thus, why I drew them so differently.
Beyond that... I hope you like the way they both look thus far? Also, if I'm missing something detail wise that you don't see on your characters, please, tell me. Beyond that, I hope you like the loving look of each character towards eachother?

I'd say that's fair - Pharaoh Hounds are amazing - I wanted one so badly, but they're like $2,000 for a puppy... NOPE!
It's because I usually make Kira's fur "longer" than Sledges, I keep his almost skin-like to keep his elitist look, as where Kira I usually make a softer, gentler look. They're both "technically" jackals, but I agree 100% with your assessment ^.^
As for the tails - I think you're on the right track! I *think* the reason you dislike Kira's is because it reminds you of the tail you did on the squirrel for DeathsDelusion. If I had to guess as to what part of it you dislike - It'd probably be how it curls at the end - gives it almost a squirrel-Esq appearance - not the end of the world :P Sledge's tail is unnaturally long, so if you want, you can extend it a bit - it usually goes to his feet, with a whip-like super thin section at the end ^.^ I think that'll give you the effect you're looking for (with the tails) - I'll get you references real quick for them ^.^

I'm absolutely happy you like both characters thus far, especially the emotion I was attempting to display. As for, Kira's, tail... *Nods* Looking at it, yeah, you're right. A simple fix. As for, Sledge's, tail... aw... that too will be fixed now that I know what needs fixed. Thank you for the links.

I knew when you linked this eventually that you'd have some sort of issue with one of the two - most people don't even attempt to draw them b/c of their species / body types / markings / ect ect - But I figured you'd have minimal trouble ^.^ You've done a lot of amazing work, much harder than these two in the past, so I know you'll get it 110% with just a few tiny tweaks ^.^

You know, I've always found it humorous how oblivious most individuals in a healthy relationship are when it comes to sexual innuendo's, or even random acts of flirtation from others. Take me for an example. If I was single, I would have likely been a bit perverted once realizing my post mistake, and just gone with it for laughs. Nowadays, it takes either a keen eye on my part, or my fiancée to point out what just happened. In this case, a keen eye, and a self face palm.
Hmmmm,I suppose that this is true for most in a relationship. I guess I am simply an odd one in that situation,I always notice sexual innuendo's,flirting... kinda,that's never been my forte. But I have an extremely perverted personality,and most things said-if you saw me in real life,would see me giggling because of this.
