Ayy, due to request, I've decided to bring back my good ol' Gatcha Mystery Adopt machine, yeehaw! Going to try and keep this as simple as possible, so hopefully this will be easier to understand! <33
~What you pay is what you get, the more paid=better quality adopt
~These are 100% random! You can give me some guidance, but ultimately I will draw what I feel like, and what you see is what you'll get, no sketch stage!
~You might get some kind of bonus like a special color palette or free headshot, you might not, depends on how I feel.
~When ordering, you can request a specific gender or species, or you can just give me a theme and let me work with that. Or you can let me do 100% whatever I want!
-Example: "I want a futuristic demon with green on it!" or "I want a male dragontaur, please!" or "I want something cute and pink!"

Level 1: Basic package- $5 or 500 points
-You will get one gatcha mystery adopt, drawn in whatever style I feel like.
-You can choose between feral, humanoid, or anthro

Oh yeah, it's based off of the uhh, idea of those gashapon machines in Japan, but some people call them gatcha. You basically put in your money in the machine and get a random item, or in this case, you get to give me a vague idea of what you want and then you get a random adopt I do. Some people like the 100% mystery, some people like having more input into it.
Basically it's just the fun of having a custom with more uhh...mystery to it, so to speak! In my case, I do them as quick cheap lil' warm up things, hence why they're less than a fifth of what I normally charge for adopts lol.

I'd be paying by points and if a theme is applicable maybe something horror/eldritch? With a clear/plain stomach and anthro but not based off a canine/feline?

I adore the angels in it and was so damn excited to hear Hideaki Anno was working on Shin Godzilla (Hoo boy you could TELL with the comparisons between Godzilla and becoming a literal god as well as some reused NGE music) so it only seemed fair to include them in the inspiration pool!

While I unquestionably love it, a couple people I've shown it to immediately think and ask about Xenomorphs and while I do enjoy the little design similarities I'd rather lean it more towards Shin and the angels when I draw him. I was planning on drawing him more with thicker legs and a split lower jaw when angry.
Though while that may be enough I felt like asking if you had any suggestions?
Because I don't want you to feel like you have to redraw or change it, I don't want to be demanding or pushy so I merely ask so I have some ideas for when I draw him.

Oooh yeah, that's most likely b/c I base a lot of my kaiju off of goblin sharks and I didn't want to make yours look 100% like my other ones so I turned the head backwards so the long bit is off the back instead of the front >>;;;

That would look really badass though! Split jaw is always good imo ;o
UHH hm, I guess if I could redo it in my normal style and not the cutesy style, I would go with much sharper edges and wayyy more defined spikes and such, probably a ridge down the chest and eliminate the white on the chest and tail in favor of more plating or something. I'd probably add more defined plating on the tail to lift up to release the parasites/youngin's/what have you as well, and probs make a more electric look to the blue filaments? You could also adjust the head to end shorter and have the blue parts come off like spikes maybe..? Or just flip the head back around so the goblin shark nose goes out the front and thin it up a bit, haha.

It's only if someone tells me specifically not to use goblin shark bits that I do ones like this because I just....have a really strong preference to goblin sharks for some reason. It's like how by default I'll never draw human-ish hands on harpies or give literally -any- adopt or design teeth that aren't sharp, haha.

I made the legs and such lighter looking to keep with Sachiel's frame, hence the black plating and such, but you're free to change that too if you want! ;o The color palette as a whole p much came from Ramiel and Sachiel, with some of the purple-ish highlights from the breath from Shin godzilla :v
he could def look cool with a heavier bottom frame though! Make him less insectoid and more lizardlike to be sure!
I'm sorry you didn't end up liking him though ;u;/ You're always free to resell him if you want!! I def don't mind, you have full rights to do so, haha. The downside with these gatcha is that since they're...well, super cheap mystery adopts, it's kind of what I happen to draw is what you get, so I don't edit or anything since I just merge the layers and call it a day. (The only time I do edits is if I do something 100% wrong, such as oops, wrong gender or the person specifically said no wings and I did wings anyway, etc, I'm sorry!)

Aaah makes sense Goblin sharks are the coolest and can make a great base for anything.

I might end up removing the tail parasites merely because not many people will know of the very end of Shin Godzilla and the delightful reveal (I am on the edge of my seat for the possible sequel, as that was a gold mine ending) and change it to maybe have rows of useless teeth? Or false-face-like to look a tad more like Shins tail-end which is likely a bit more known.
Which is a shame as I do love the idea of parasites but it might also be a lending factor in people thinking of Xenos.
I can only imagine the horror of Shin Godzilla's beam mixed with Ramiel's A slightly more purple hue might help then again I do really really love the colours, the electric blue is brilliant.
I like the legs, gives an almost silly impression he's wearing knee high boots that's both amusing and adorable, but will still benefit from being made more weighty.
