Sadly, one of our students, Joe Sanchez(left) passed away last weekend. I've been fortunate in my life to have studied and even taught martial arts with some awesome people and Joe is no exception. He constantly showed up to every class, seminar, and outing we've had. He always had a joke to keep the mood easy, a constant smile, a chill demeanor, and more importantly a spirit that gave him an aptitude and attitude to learn. I didn't matter if someone was a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, Joe just loved to train with everyone he met in class. I know this sounds cliche but class just won't be the same anymore.
