Evaline Churchell - My art teacher at the middle school, Miss Churchell was the center of a hurricane of controversy concerning several boys on the football team and getting lost in her mini van after the homecoming celebration. Sure, nothing was ever PROVEN, but you hear stories all the same. Being proactive, she scheduled private conferences with several fathers of the boys in question, and it was decided that the rumors of scandal were baseless and overblown. She took a leave of absence for the rest of that school year, but was right back at the job the following school year. Flash forward to NOW, and she's not only the new art history teacher at the high school, but my new next store neighbor since old Mr. Tanner was caught with all that stuff on his hard drive. While I didn't really give her much thought in middle school, she all I think about now. My Senior year is pretty slack, and I'm not only in her Art History class, but have her for fifth period study hall as well. But school isn't the problem; it's her after hours. The minute school is over, she speeds home, changes into the smallest swimsuit state laws will allow, and sunbaths for hours… in the only spot in her back yard visible from my bedroom window. She's doing this on purpose, right? RIGHT?

I still haven't decided what to do with her or whether I'll use that story seed. I'm currently thinking that if nothing else, she can be a second teacher at Virginia's school. I actually have another adopt from king-cheetah that is also a school faculty member so hey, that's a potential setting filling right up.
