I loved "The Wagon Slayer" so much that the little boy in it just had to come back for an encore. And he's doing it in true cowboy style!
Come on, what American kid didn't play cowboy, have chaps and a vest and nickel-plated six-guns?
Probably my most ambitious marker piece, this fella's 14" x 17" and sold in the Califur 4 art show.

You know, this kid brings back good memories for me, and not just because I had a red wagon growing up and a couple of partners-in-crime with big imaginations.
I can't remember the title of the piece, but there was an old Disney cartoon (one of the 5 to 10 minute ones) all about a kid's dreams of being a Western hero, complete with a rocking horse and assorted toys that turned into a dreamscape after he went to bed.
