I'm pretty sure comedy central is "most people", it's pretty mainstream. and all they play is racial humor, always one race talking about another one, or men talking about women, or one lifestyle making fun of another or whatever. it's like all you have to do to be a standup comedian is point out/act like a stereotype. :s it's serious degradation of humor.

Question:
Let's say someone shows Electra what the five fingers said to the face. Do you think this'd be a REVELATORY experience for her, or just an excuse for more hate? 8)

Security is usually forced to be impartial. Violence is violence, regardless of if the person it's happening to isn't a very nice person.

It'd be hate. She believes herself to be perfect already, so any attack is just someone who doesn't understand that she's right. To have a revelation, there has to be an opening to the possibility that something she is doing is wrong.

It may not be supposed to be funny, but Electra is so terrible and oblivious that it's morbidly funny. The characters' facial expressions and body language are spot on throughout. In particular the two last frames are just golden. Poor Lolly, trying to convince herself that her best friend isn't a total jerk.

The Electra series of comic strips, I love the way you capture spot on the attitude of people of her type, Superficial, selfish, hypocritical, and usually none too bright. The subtle touches of these is what really makes them worthwhile, Lolly's crooked smile captured the realization that the one she follows and looks up is a twat.

Somehow I loled and yet felt very wrong....

Please stop giving me contradicting emotions.

Okay, well...no, it's not funny, and that's really quite fine. I still enjoy this work of yours, as I like to think that I like your art not because it is funny, but because it has a real, soulful presence. Like, even when you're being silly with your art it's still made with care, as it were.
