Commission for a friend over on DeviantArt...
He asked for a belly dancing wolf, no character specifically just a random one. So here she is.
Original size is 11" x 14", done using microns, colored pencil and watercolor pencils.
I love the way the central figure came out, but I have reservations about the background. I just wasn't sure what to do with it once I had the main character in place. But I think it came out much better than I had originally thought it would.

the background is good enough, building a frame around her, so no worries.
I love her cushioned curves, the face, the detailed dress. the dancing move... details and overall view looks so fine, and I would love to meet her in real, watching her dance. :)
the watermark is a bit in the way of view, but I can understand why you use it. so, there.

another awesome piece I see (you get too little GOOD feedback I think. So I'll be trying to fill it in a bit). I think I've failed to mention it before but i love the way your jewelry is done! I see marks and fur patterns/colours all the time but I hardly ever see any jewelry so it's a nice change of pace to me. Again with the eyes you can just drown in! and all those small details like those circle things I donno the name off....(palette's?) and those small folds on her waist when the hip sways that way. It gives it much depth of realism which I appreciate in a drawiing. One thing I myseld did not like too much was that the branches of the trees joins over her head. I know it's probably done to tie it all together and form that circle which you often do but to me it just seems a bit wrong and I feel it could've been done by having their leaves mix into each other instead. But that's just what I believe.
Another stunning piece!

I actually did the branches that way to cover up a mistake I made when I was inking it...she originally was going to have just a circle around her, but after I had inked it and stepped back I realized the circle was really mis-shapen, so the only way to cover it up was to make the branches blend in. I'm iffy about the background as I said, but I did my best to make it look nice.
