Maybe. If I can't match it into crew I can still put him somewhere in the setting. After all pirates need someone to rob, enemies and also some allies, I want to create whole set of characters. So a turtle scientist will work there even if not a pirate himself.

Whoa, he looks pretty tough! I would be terrified if he boarded my ship with a band of ferocious space pirates!
Maybe you can draw a big alien brute that resembles an ankylosaurus, complete with a maul like tail. His back armor is dense and can resist blaster fire. He would be the muscle of the crew when they need him.

Cool idea. I will try this out. A pirate crew need some muscle too and we can't always rely on the cybernetic equipment so an analogue member will be a good addition.
And the captain must be tough, witty and charismatic! Someone needs to keep all those bastards on board in line!
Also we also can be nice while boarding... to all who do not resist, that is! Yarrrr!
Forgot to mention we are never nice to the supporters of the corporations and Imperial regime!

Abandoned mine on a forgotten moon sounds tempting. Perfect place for a hideout... but also for a trap. We will need allies, but I will keep my eye on you. Hopefully it will be mutually beneficial for both of us. I will show up again when I get my crew together and a ship... since one of the members is basically part of it.
That's easy. Can even get the something more rare not everyone can lay their hands or paws on.
On top of that we can get any shipment of liquor from all around the galaxy. It would just require to *persuade* some merchants to cooperate. And this also means tons of *FUN*. Hehehe
