Illustration of my Oc's Logan & Potpourri.

Basically the younger girl,"Potpourri," is the princess of an Alien Empire.
There, her powers include but are not limited to, a toxic gas that enables her species to breathe.
This gas takes the form of small fluttering particles
that resemble butterflies. Hence the title, " butterfly princess."
Logan, the woman who protects her was an Ex militant from earth who went rogue after
a falling out with her superior that cost her, her foot and an eye.
After a while, she took up the proposition as a sword for hire
and came across Potpourri in a field of Giganteum allium.
After Potpourri had explained to the woman that her planet was in danger due to HUMANS attempting
to mine their planet of its natural gas to create energy & atomic weapons-
the soldier was asked to make a pact with the princess to become her permanent sword.
They soon began to travel together, where the soldier would attempt to help her save her dying, foreign planet.
