Hehe, what's weird is that this is all coming through horrible writer's block. I consider myself primarily a story writer and I've been having a terrible time making any progress on that front lately. I guess none of us get to choose what the muse tells us or when.

I've been trying to make the Muse my bitch for a while. With no success. You're very lucky in that sense...I can't write "story" stories...The closest i'm getting to a story is that epic that i'm working on.

Haha, the Muse is an elusive thing, indeed. I'm afraid I don't consider myself to be a very good writer. I'd probably feel a little better if I could at least finish my third chapter, the only one thus far of decent length. In fact, I consider you lucky. I couldn't write an epic poem or even a "normal" poem. When it comes to poetry the only thing I can do is the repetitive "emo" stuff.

I look forward to seeing the end product of said chapter. :3 The problem I have with what I do is that it rarely catches someones eye. .___. The poems that I see you and other people do seem to be viewed and appreciated more often..Either not many people are into fantasy and romanticism anymore, or my titling is awful!

Thank you, I look forward to finishing it. A month is far too long to "work" on it and only have nine pages done. That being said, I suppose it isn't so bad seeing as I don't devote as much time to it as I likely should. Considering that very few people seem to read what I write my titling must be awful as well. XD I think it's largely the nature of the internet at work. Like the ratio of Marilyn Manson videos to Chopin on YouTube. People seem to fall into one camp or the other, without taking the time to appreciate both. "The Demons of Calphion" caught my eye because it seemed to be a departure from the kind of thing that shows up everywhere.

I try my best when I write those sort of things. :B Nice to have a break from reality once in a while..Gosh durn popularity wars ruining the poetic world. D: Manson is great and all, but why does he blotch out geniuses such as Chopin? The band Tin Hat or Tin Hat Trio rarely ever gets seen, but they are beautiful artists. I guess i'm an old-fashioned person. :B Anyways, i'm headed off to bed. 4 AM here and I need to wake up in a few hours.

Personally, I think Manson is a genius in his own way. I think that he overshadows older music simply because he's current and people are exposed to that kind of music. There seems to be a general idea among people roughly my age (and younger, I can't vouch for older) to think that "classical" music is automatically old and boring but they don't realize that, in a weird way, it really is the same kind of music, just from a different era. I have to admit that I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to classical music and couldn't readily recognize a composer but I still manage to enjoy some of the music. I'm afraid I haven't heard of Tin Hat. I may have have to educate myself in that regard.

Okay, sleep well! It's 7 AM where I am so I should have been asleep hours ago but It just isn't going to happen for me tonight, haha.

Last night's work is actually more poetry than I've ever written. I figured I couldn't be too picky or I'd never post anything. I almost never like what I write. You're a great poet though, much better than I am.
