Both were part of a request which I didn't have much success satisfying. The requester rejected the first image and had some issue with this one (my memory isn't the greatest) and in the end, we lost contact and they were both set aside.
I like a lot of the elements in this image, particularly Cypressa's tree-throne and the postures of both characters. The kneeling character is a species created by the requester.
Once again, The name "Cypressa" and many aspects of her design were based on a picture titled "Cypressm". I wrote a short story with her as the main character, but I don't own her.

It can be really frustrating for all parties when the requesters have something very specific in mind, but just can't communicate what they want to the artist.
Can you salvage this as a separate piece, make a few alterations so it's not the requester's characters any more, and then maybe sell it at a con or through the interwebz?

Showing your stuff to local furries doesn't count. :P Furries who you hang out with, no matter where you are, will rarely offer monies for anything (except maybe sexual favors).
Try putting your stuff up on one o' those internet auctions, or at a con. You'd be surprised. Your dragon & dino material has a wider potential audience than the basic anthro mammal. DOOO EEEEEEETTTTT. @_@
