I do not own invader zim or any of the characters. I am just an insignificant insect that is just a fan. All characters belong to Jhonen Vasquez and nickelodeon.
I am not sure what “STEAM PUNK” is but I saw some photographs based on that and found it fascinating! The costumes where absolutely breath taking and so refine, yet there was an edge to them, because my guess was that they were inventors or adventurers of some sort… well then I thought of the two character being in that era with those costumes. I made Gaz very subdue for reasons that she has to work in the shadows unnoticed allot, and Zim is wearing a kilt! Well, I learned that kilts were worn in that period and the patterns and colors represented what clan you were from. Well Zim is a bit off for reasons that he is an alien after all.
What of the bells on Gaz’s wrists? Well I wanted to draw bells! So why not there? My guess is that when Zim saw that people put bells on their cats, he thought of putting them on Gaz so he would hear her nearby when he has to. He also has her leashed to him, for reasons that he doesn’t want her to get lost, ……..or perhaps even not try get away?
Well you can guess what you like then, and tell me why he has bells on her.
In addition, I finally decided to put them in a wanted sign because… isn’t it cool looking?
I think Zim is insulted by the reward. As for Gaz… well… I would not mess with her bells if I were you. LOL!
