My dad had the M1919A1 mounted iin the back prior to the 1968 gun ban. I currently have the radio mounted in the rear on the passenger side. I used to own a 1952 Dodge M-37 Weapons Carrier Truck, as a factory reconfigured M-42 Radio Command Truck. I think theres a pic in my gallery somewhere, or at least on my original page linked on my main page (remove the Mr_ from my current user name).
TP-25 on the sides refers to the tire pressure. The markings show this to be from the 6th headquarters company of the 8th army (Germany).
Not sure of the 8-12 E. and cannot make out the markings near the front left fender star. Though if you had a better image of that, I could tell you what it is.
I used to work at the Fort Meade Army Museum, and Aberdeen Proving Ground Museum (no longer in existance thanks to a former hateful president).
