It's a tab editor, for reading guitar tabs and shit.

I have FL Studio 8 installed (Torrented)
But I procractinate -way- too much to actually sit down and try to use it

It's not that I don't -know- how to use it. I can make rhythms and stuff.

It's more of the fact that I don't have the patience to fiddle around with those settings to get the sounds I want

Well, most of the built-in filters are garbage anyway. You'll need 3rd party stuff and gigabytes of space for anything decent. My song there was actually just internal plugins and some drum samples. But hardstyle is VERY easy to make, because it's just heavy kick + bass + synthline.
