Just something simple I scribbled out, I'm sure I'll come up with something more eloquent later. I've been too burned out to write, lately.

For those that don't know, I've spent the better part of almost the last 3 years caring for my great-grands; and as of yesterday my work is done. It's been a long year so far. My great-grandmother becoming bedridden from a fall, requiring constant attention, then the unexpected passing of another grandfather. Shortly after, my great-grandmother succumbed to Alzheimer's and dementia and passed on. Now, two months later, my great-grandfather. I'm sure it will hit me more in the next few days, I'm still a bit numb now, and the house is silent.
