And here's the second image that I asked  GuyWolfyI to draw for me (decided to start with the half of the team my characters resonated more strongly with, for now, and do the other half at another time); this was actually the first of the two he did, but since Alyssa was the impetus for the whole project, I felt it only right to put up her picture first.

While Blake is not quite as close of a match for 'Seph as Ruby is for Alyssa, there's still some very strong resemblances. Both have a bad habit of hiding their true selves away from the world because it makes things easier on them, and both tend to be awkward around people that they don't trust (even people that they do, though less so), and both of them have quite a tendency to try to do things on their own to avoid involving their friends or risking them coming to harm.

More importantly, I felt that the plight of the faunus had rather an echo of what the Gargoyles face in Persephone's timeframe, being a barely tolerated underclass. Indeed, I can quite see the equivalent to the White Fang being the 'Daughters of Demona' or something of that ilk - attempting to appear to the world to be simply a special interest group trying to secure equal rights for the Gargoyle while hiding a sect of militant radicals that demand equal, or superior, rights at any cost - even genocide if that's what it took. And, much like Blake, I can readily envision 'Seph coming face to face with that darkness at its heart and deciding that shi wanted no part of it...

There was also the fact that I thought Blake's Season 4 outfit would look quite nice on a Matron like 'Seph, with as much of her midriff as it shows off - though I think 'Seph might be getting a little too big for hir top. :)

Whereas Alyssa is a bit more dour than her counterpart from the show, I figure that Persephone would be more cheerful than Blake is, often trying to raise the group's spirits, even if shi might be a bit insensitive in doing so - never intentionally, but shi's not really used to having anyone but hir Clan or cell to rely on and care for. That and hir irrepressible desire to protect, I figure, make hir more suitable as team leader, thus making it Team SAVV (pronounced Savvy - not a color, but closest I could come up with for the acronym!).

Of course, that still leaves two members of the team unaccounted for. Who could they be? :)
