-Lore:
Akaram was wolf born on the plane of Tarkir to the Temur clan with terrible eyesight. A condition that made much of the world around him nothing more than a blurry mess, and it made many, if not all, around him give up hope in this one's chances of use. Akaram was determined though, and pursued what he could help with as a shaman.
Practice after practice he did well, in but it was average at most, but then he met a collective of shamans who would use magic another way. They would tamper with mana new the land and move it about, an art used to either bring more mana to shaman in battle, or pull it away from the enemy. Akaram, was an amateur, but progressed fast to be as good as the elders, this new form of magic flowed with him, and opened his world. bending, pulling, pushing, and shifting the mana of the land near him got easier and easier, to where he could even see the mana itself flowing through everything. The land, the plants, the denizens, the dragons, the very dragon lords; it was a new vision for him all together. The more he practiced, the more he could move, and he more his power grew, the more people took notice.
One day, A party of hunters asked him to come along, and help to fight in an attack. Eagerly, Akaram agreed and followed them to the heat of battle. It went worse then expected. The shaman did what he could to pull mana for the Abzan magi, but the hunters had no use for mana and it left him helpless as the party fought to the death. In the end, It was Akaram left against two warriors and their mage. He had no fighting skills, they would kill him without a problem. They closed in fast as Akaram raced for ideas, as he saw the mana flowing through them, it reached out with his hands and tried to pull it all from them. The three were charging still, but soon started to slow down as specks of their body started to fly off as some sort of essence. Akaram saw them coming and continued, refusing to die there and now. They were now limping as they were feet from, there bodies and armor, coming apart slowly and blowing in the wind. One raised his sword to cleave Akaram's head off, but before Akaram could see anymore his planeswalker spark ignited, and he had vanished. All that remained on that small battle field where the bodies of those two fell, and three extra sets of armor.
Akaram found himself instantly in a new world, the plane of kamigawa. Tired, scared, and confused, he managed the best he could and dared to hide in the forest he entered till morning came. At dawn he was awoken by a Kami coming to straight for him, and in his panic he pulled what he did before, this time seeing the horror of the spirit being torn apart by reality. TIt was so much faster this time, and so much stronger. It shocked Akaram, and he ran from the scene blindly. In his search for new shelter he came across a village of kitsune, they were confused to see such a being like them, and in clothes made only of animal hides. They asked so much of him, but Akaram could only answer so much as he, himself, wanted answers.
Days had past as he traveled around until he met someone else like him, the moonfolk planeswalker, Tamiyo. They both met with confusion, but Tamiyo's fascination is what helped to break the ice. He was a new planeswalker with a kind of magic that she barely had studied. Akaram, on the other hand, was in awe over how much she knew. And after a few talks, the two agreed to help one another; Tamiyo would help him to understand magic better as well as what it meant as a planeswalker, and Akaram in return would tell her about himself as well has channeling mana. In each other's lessons, they soon both learned Akaram was manipulating more than just the flow of mana within planes, he was channeling the very essence of the world around him. Tamiyo tried her best to hide the fear she had from Akaram's power, but he could sense it. Before more conflict could arise, Akaram left her a message of farewell, and then planeswalked away with a new look at himself, and the many worlds he could learn from like the moonfolk he met.
