Have we mentioned how big a nerd Opal is? She tends to spend her free time at home, but absolutely LOVES LARPing. She helps a few people in the area in running events, often going on for days at a time, and loves every moment of it. She even rigged up her fake magic staff to synchronize with her real life magic, just so she can make it glow different colors.

She's tried to convince the rest of the Survey Team to join her, but Beth was too busy, Caz lasted about a day before she gave up ("Cosplaying in the woods for a week is a bit much for me,") and Zed is on probation with the LARP group after getting too in character and breaking an enemy bandit's arm.

At least Opal's having fun, though!
