I recognise this dashing fellow from a few months back! Gosh it's great to see him finished and to see another awesome display of traditional from you! This is a really good rendition of Treble in your style. As ever, I'm totally drawn to the textures you achieve with markers and the really powerful highlights you incorporate. Did you do that with white pens or by simply not colouring those areas? I need to try using white pens more but with my current work, the white tends to overpower the pencil. ><

It's really good to see some your 'own' work again. I know your commissions and things look great of course, but it's refreshing to see some of your own ideas on paper again!

For the white highlights I use Sakura GellyRoll white gel pens, they're great and don't fade or 'run' like most white pens. Did I give you one last time? If not I'll have to fix that! You can actually achieve the same effect by intentionally leaving parts uncoloured but it can be tricky because of colour bleeding and depends on the style of the piece. The softer white highlights are just pencil, for the record.

It is indeed a welcome break to not draw a sassy noodle dragon or vore for once, as fab as they both are haha. Hoping to keep things varied!

I love the fan theory that supposes Treble becomes Sigma's pet Velguarder in X. All things considered, though, I'd say Bass and Treble get on even tighter in some ways that Rock and Rush!

Ah yes, MM fan theories - like how it's thought that Seges is in fact Wily but in a new body or how Bass was a prototype of Zero...some are crazy but I love them still! I guess Reploids and robots just can't get enough of mecha wolves, who can blame them??

Also agreed, Treble and Bass seem to have more of a "I got your back" attitude with their bond.
