Before I'll start the series how Sheila met Hogaki (her current mate), I would like to tell you about her past.


Gazir and Kaya were a happy marriage. They lived alone near Savannah. Their only happiness was the lack of one - a cub. Kaya was pregnant and gave birth to their daughter. They have not named her yet. Their names came from the color names of their eyes, so their daughter was supposed to have similar name.

Soon came the day when their daughter was about to open her eyes. When she opened, Kaya and Gazir were in shock - their daughter was blind...
Kaya was sad at first. She looked at her daughter, who blinked blindly and laughed. Lioness smiled, feeling love with her even more.
"We have to get rid of her", the lion said suddenly
"What?", asked Kaya, surprised.
"Do we have any other way out? How do you imagine this? All our lives have to baby her?"
"We can't do this! This is our cub!", protested the lioness.
"I wanted to have a healthy cub, not like that", shouted Gazir.
"How could you say that? I will not get rid of our beloved daughter.
"I do not want to have that daughter", said the lion, then turned and walked away.
"Gazir, where are you going?, asked Kaya. But he didn't answer. Kaya called him, but ineffective. Gazir left them...

"Don't worry Sheila, I will take care of you", said Kaya to her daughter with crying.
