Those are American Bison right there =D

Because I can't really zoom, it doesn't give you a very accurate picture of how close to the road that guy was. It was about twenty five feet away or so. Those badasses can sprint at 30mph. If my annoying can't-turn-off-the-shutter-sound-when-you-take-a-picture DSi had annoyed it, I could have been pretty dented in, and probably lacking a few limbs.

They really are kinda cute if you can get a good view of them. Later on, we saw a herd and they had just had babies a few months ago, so there were lots of little guys running around. It was so cute <3

I must have taken at least 40+ pictures of bison, since I couldn't really tell how good or bad they were gonna be until I uploaded them onto the computer after I got home, and this one is probably the best.
