I have spent 5 minutes staring at the Rhino with the same question.
What is he wearing on his horns and face other than eye glasses? The best answer I can come up with is that he cut off his own pointy ends of his horns to sell the ivory and those other things are ridged scales? Any enlightenment is appreciated. These do look REALLY cool though.
