Rather than post this final 'photo-op' on "Throwback Thursday" on the last day of August, 2017, I'd decided to present it (more appropriately) on the first day of September, 2017 - which I usually treat as my 'sweeps month'...
In this last in a series of photos, taken in New York City on June 23, 2017, I has a passerby take a picture of my brother Glenn and I (with my disposable camera), from the Observation Deck of the Freedom Tower in lower Manhattan. With my own camera, and Glenn's smartphone, we'd taken snapshots of various scenes from the top of the newly-opened skyscraper.
Of course, the main reason for this particular 'photo-op' was to present it as the 'After' shot, as this was only the third time in our lives when we were up above the other buildings in NYC. The first time was back in the 1960s, when we went up to the top of the Empire State Building (along with Mom, Dad, and our sister Rhonda). And the second time (a.k.a. the 'Before' shot) was in the Spring of 1988, when we were on the Observation Deck of the south tower of the World Trade Center, which was also captured on film - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10823805/
