OH MY GOD, A POST!! lol
seriously though, i rarely post anything as you may have noticed, and the reason why is because every time i get to ready to draw, pencil on paper and everything, i just freeze, as if i forgot what happens next. thank goodness i have such wonderful friends to help me, one gave me the idea to write down my anger and this thing was born. a representation of me expressing my frustration of not being able to START drawing. its not the greatest work, and honestly, i didnt try very much, it was like 10 minutes really, i just wanted to draw something, because i hadnt in the last year. THANK YOU PEOPLES 8D

oh my god, thank you so much, you have no idea how much it means to me to have a single comment from someone. sorry i didnt respond sooner, i was out of town. i havent really drawn much at all really, never have much motivation .___. but i hope to draw more in the future. once again, thank you very much
His head isn't bad at all. Arms are rather noodle-y. Upper legs not too bad. Wings ok, tail could use some work. Shows the emotion effectively. Keep at it : )
Yeah, drawing can be frustrating. Coming up with the idea to draw too. It is not so hard with other people around you in a chat for inspiration who can toss out ideas and encourage you.
When you draw a blank, draw a nothing. Just scribble something and turn it into a random picture. That's how many of my pictures start.
Best thing to do, buy a cheap Genius MousePen 8x6 tablet(about $40-45 at walmart.com) or any tablet really and paintchat(or open canvas) with friends. Even if they are just there to watch. If you want to draw, that'll help motivate and inspire you... once you get over feeling embarrassed about people watching you. They aren't there to make fun of you, they are there for free art.

heh, thanks man, actually i never minded people watching me, ironicly i stopped drawing when i left highschool, havent had an idea since. also, i didnt know they made tablets that cheap, even still i can afford it, in a bit of a money crisis. so yeah, i am very out of practice, but i wish to start drawing again, i just need to find the motivation.
well, i had been drawing ever since i could pick up a pencil, but ever since i graduated highschool, i seem to have lost my touch, its as if i have come up to the worlds largest art block. I want to draw again, but every time I try, i seem to freeze, as if i forgot what happens next. I have been inspired a few times, but i am still not motivated enough to draw again, so its been about 3 years since i have had any real activity.
im actually still at that point, even with how old this pic is, i have yet to draw anything, i tried going to writing, it worked for a little while before i lost motivation for that after a few months, now i have yet to do anything constructive, i need to find the drive to create once more. biggest 6 year art/writers block ever lol
lol yeah, im still looking for the solution, so far it seems that i derive motivation and inspiration from having people around me in person, from keeping myself busy. if i can move out of my house and live with my mate, get a job to keep me busy, i will likely return to writing and drawing again ^^
