So over a year ago (or more?) I got a toned tan and toned grey sketchbook for my birthday. Shortly after I sketched and lined this bust and it took me like all the way until midsummer this year to color it, after I went out and bought some cool white markers that are fun to use on toned paper. So I colored this bust finally using some crayons markers I've had since 6th grade, variety of white opaque markers, colored ballpoint pens, and a white gelly roll pen. Did this after I first tried this technique on a dragon drawing (that I will upload later). It was pretty fun.
Only regret was that the lineart was done in black ballpoint pen, which is shiny in light on the thickest/darkest parts as opposed to matte when using microns to line.
