What do you think he wishes for? The little mouse looks up as a falling star shoots across the Milky Way. He has his dreams, his goals, can they come true? Can his wish on the falling star become reality?
This is another miniature I created. I wanted to do the Milky Way and night sky with watercolor and it was most challenging part of the piece. After a few trial and errors, I was able to come up with the way it looks in the picture's sky. Not bad for a first attempt. I was suprised that it uses the same technique as it does to make clouds in a watercolor painting. I am excited to say that I wil try another night scene like this again in later pieces.
Scanner is killing me... I can't wait to get home and use my good one. Gotta love 20$ haji scanners. It ate it, the actual piece looks way better in person.

I bet it wishes to marry the sun so that his children would be the strongest in the world and not fear anything. But then the sun will admit to be helpless in front of the clouds, so the mouse will ask the cloud to marry him. But the cloud will point out he can easily be pushed around by the wind, so the mouse will ask the wind to marry him. But the wind will complain that as mighty as he is, still the tower resists and won't budge. So the mouse will ask the tower to marry him, but the tower will reply he too fears something : the mice, who dig and eat and munch and crunch at his base, and sooner or later the mice will tip the tower over...
So the mouse will decide mice are the strongest in the world! and will marry a mouse.
