So over a year ago,  zephial, my husband  whovicub, and I started this little endeavor. We decided to create our own Pokemon world and it all started with the Gym Leaders and oddly finished with the main characters. My main job was to design the characters, Zephial to come up with the story, and Jason to design this new region. We crossed over here and there, but what has now formed is something I am truly proud of. This new story revolves around a huge pokemon summit being held in the new Region's major port city, people from all over the world are arriving for the event. The 3 main characters are all from different regions and are tasked with helping the new Professor document the unexplored areas of the region.

First up: The Gym Leaders p. 1

My Major concern with designing all my characters for this was diversity. I really wanted a melting pot of cultures, but with a Pokemon twist. Also each prolific character, IE Gym Leader, Elite 4 member, etc., is dressed like their main pokemon, this started as a challenge to myself, but ended in just a sense that this is sorta of an honor thing in this region to celebrate pokemon and everything they do for their trainers.

Tesla: The Electric Gym Leader, has a penchant for cute electric types. His team includes: Pachirisu, Emolga, Dedenne, Togedemaru, Pikachu, and Ampharos.

Honey: The Bug Gym Leader, a leading fashion designer outside the gym. Her team includes: Vespiquen, Leavanny, Vivillion, Ribombee, Beedrill, and Scyther.

Abrin: The Poison Gym Leader, a outdoors enthusiast, loves poison types because of their misunderstood nature. His team includes: Skuntank, Crobat, Tentacruel, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Salazzle.

Peri: The Psychic Gym Leader, an avid cosplay enthusiast and boutique owner. Her team includes: Gardevoir, Gallade, Meowstic♂, Meowstic♀, Lunatone, and Solrock.

Walnut: The Grass Gym Leader, a former Pokemon Professor who decided he needed more freedom, now content with being one with his grass types in his climate controlled gym. His team includes: Torterra, Leafeon, Tropius, Abomasnow, Gogoat, and Tsarenna.

Blaze: The Fire Gym Leader, a true fire trainer if ever there was one, a model and television personality. Her team includes: Rapidash, Arcanine, Typhlosion, Camerupt, Torkoal, and Talonflame.
