Darkness surrounded him, the only light in the room being the moonlight coming in from the window.
Alone in the dark sat a single figure, a large, white feline by the name of Solgaleo. He was pain, both physical and mental. As he laid on his back in the moonlight, the scene replayed in his head over and over; lines of torment replayed over and over, causing him to tense up, tears streaming down the side of his face.
‘Haha, not so legendary anymore!’ The voice in his head shouted. ‘How can you protect your people, if you can’t even protect yourself?’
“N-n-no…”
His eyes were clenched shut, trying to stop the tears from falling, but to no avail.
“I-I’m so weak…” He muttered, frozen. “H-how… W-why did th-this have to h-happen t-t-to me?”
He had never felt so violated, weak, and ashamed.
“H-how can anyone look up to me like I am now?” He asked himself.
A second later, his whole body tensed, and he soon let out scream of pain.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”
The pain he felt came from the injuries he received a few weeks ago, the day he was violated, tricked, and humiliated.
It all burned, as if someone was taking a searing knife, and slicing him up.
“ARCEUS PLEASE!!!” He shouted, freely sobbing. “The pain… MAKE IT STOP!!”
His relief didn’t come though. He was burning, his scars, as if they were on fire. The injuries that lied underneath his black tuxedo were already sealed, and would most likely leave as scar, but the pain they were emitting, was enough to make a man go mad.
Solgaleo felt like he would faint any minute, and he prayed for that moment to come, but it was taking longer than he liked.
“I-I n-need to g-go to the hospi-”
The large feline attempted to reach for his phone, but whenever he moved, the sear of his body’s condition caused him to spaz drastically, rendering him unable to control his movements.
“C-crap…” He grunted, taking a deep breath. “O-okay, calm down Sol…”
If only it was that easy.
The pain lessened rapidly, but it never fully went away. He managed to get himself up though, and picked up his phone.
“I- it’s gone for now…” He muttered, sighing again. “I just need a walk.”
That said, he grabbed his keys and left his apartment; the hot, summer night air greeting him.
"What am I going to do?" He asked himself as he walked. "I'm one of the leaders of Alola, and I'm afraid of returning to my own land. How can I go back when that monster is there."
Solgaleo sighed, walking towards the stream that resided near the city park.
He looked down at it, his reflection staring back; one of a tired man.
A tear fell from his face.
The steel-type closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind of his troubles, but failed. He was in despair too deep that he couldn't get out alone.
Alone...
'Alone~'
His eyes shot open as that voice that tormented him purred in his head.
The next thing he knew, he had fallen into the stream, his scars burning once again, causing him to let out a loud scream.
"AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
The stream wasn't deep at all, but his body refused to cooperate with him, and went into shock. He was nowhere near the point of drowning, but he feared the worst when he could barely move.
"Hey!"
Someone had just called out.
That voice had brought the lion's body out of shock, and Solgaleo immediately raised himself to shake away all the water that had gotten on him.
He looked towards the voice, and saw a small, young-looking Zangoose before him.
Sol knew that something was off about this Zangoose as soon as he saw that the normal-type had green marks instead of red.
"Are you okay?" The younger male asked, extending his hand.
Solgaleo looked into the male's emerald-green eyes; all of the pain in his body perishing instantly. The Zangoose had a forest-scent that he instantly picked up on, which soothed him a little.
“Y-yeah.” He finally spoke, a small smile appearing on his face. “I tripped.”
After a few seconds, he took the younger male's hand, and was pulled out of the water. The Zangoose also let out a cute chuckle.
"Well, it seems I haven't ruined anything." The lion said, eyeing his suit. "Though I can't say I enjoy being wet."
"You'll be fine." The Zangoose replied. "It's pretty warm out, you'll dry sooner than you think."

Yeah, this is actually a repost. The older version of this pic that I had was very blurry and pixilated, and I'm surprised I only noticed it now. No wonder it didn't get that much attention.
Hang in there Sol, help is on the way!
