Oh, Isabelle. You just didn't count on the weekly delivery of powder to come in late. I'm sure you've been making some little 'adjustments' to the budget to ensure you could maintain a 'powder fresh' smell no matter where and when an accident may come along. Got to keep up those public appearances.
Maybe she can say that there was once a town ordinance that relied on someone spreading lavender powder around the twon around night-time to help the town's residents sleep? With a diaper filled with powder she'd only need to walk, stop, wiggle her lil' tushy, and each home would get some soothing smells to help lull them to sleepytime? (Unless she oopsed first)
If anyone in the village may argue, or the mayor not agree, perhaps she could tell them about there is an Alicorn Princess who douses her palace with lavender around bedtime? ;)
