Spent a lot of time on it, and i'm glad that it came out cool :>

Just the simple fact that there's white under the arms, or that her shade of blue is even remotely close (it's very close, actually) to the original game is a rare treat, haha. So yeah, I like this. The lighter detail on the armor and clothes is fine because the focus then shifts more towards the character herself. The soft expression and unique angle are also really nice elements to it. I admit, I'd love seeing another like this, but action driven. Same level of detail but with Krystal's more spunky side. (Alas, I'm aware that porn sells best and random earnest fanart isn't gonna pay any bills, but consider this a compliment from one of the earliest big Krystal fans. :3)

Hehe, yes, the fact you took the time to look closely at those smaller details really is worth respect. Most people would just go 'close enough' and so even though you haven't played the game, you still cared enough about the character to not, umm, bastardize their defining characteristics.

If you think of drawing her again, I would definitely suggest watching the 20-30 minutes of intro gameplay (prologue segment), and the ending cinematic. This is pretty much the only time Krystal really appears. :P And if you were to delve into a more action driven scene, a bit further into the game's tutorial of staff powers since the staff itself is pretty cool. It has the same patterning as her armor, actually, which is a neat little touch.

Oh wow! This is by far one of the most beautiful rendition of Krystal I've ever seen. The detail and texture, the shape of her head, her smile, her eyes are all so perfect.

You must be a Star Fox fan to put so much love into this drawing.
