I will always be a fan of Bass and your take on him his awesome! :)

BN's Bass is a lot awesomer than the older version.

To be fair the original Bass had... nothing really going for him. He was a "threat" in MM7 but then nothing was done with him aside from a "I'm better than Megaman" attitudes that led to nothing.

Unlike Bass.EXE who was a secret boss in every game, an insane bastard, stupid powerful, isn't shown as inept, and has a cape. Not even going to get into his stories (although the game, anime, and manga iterations all have 3 separate storylines).

So, in short, the first step to making an awesome character is to actually... try.
