Krystal's A Cat
Nintendo Power, October 2006, Page 76.
"Interpecies Dating for the Modern Fox...and Cat...and Bird
Krystal is a modern anthropomorphic catlike creature with needs. Fox is a simple anthropomorphic fox of action. It's a miracle the two got together in the first place."
My proof for my small argument.
Put in scraps because it's not drawn by me and what not... and it's a crappy picture.

well fer one yes krystal was going to be cat before nintendo took it over n made her the blue vix now.. before that there were 2 other dogs that were part of starfox fer the SNES one a poodle and the other the same colored fox as Fox mcloud both women that were sadly never seen in the usa bnor the game or any other game after :3 but yeaa that ain;t a starfox game its staremo
What are you talking about? I know about Fay and Miyu already....And Miyu's obviously a lynx.
And yes this is a Starfox game. This part of Nintendo's six page miniguide to Starfox Command.
Not only that, besides these two scentences, Nintendo has never, not even in the games, mentioned or even hinted that Krystal really is a fox. Other than the fact that she got with Fox. And heck, she dumped him for Panther in Starfox Command.

Really? I'm sure I would've seen that in the magazines. I've only heard that that's the one that people take as the most cannon sounding ending. I think the whole game was crap but having the possibility that Krystal would dump a fox for a cat just kinda points a little towards Krystal favoring her actual species. :/
"Krystal was originally designed to be a main character of Dinosaur Planet, before Nintendo turned the project into a Star Fox title. Her original design was that of a 16-year-old orphaned feline, who was raised by a wizard named Randorn. When Fox became the main character of Adventures, Krystal was redesigned into her present form as a 19-year-old orphaned fox, and her role in the game became less central."
She's a fox, sorry to say. And with the character design of Command, it's easy to confuse her with a cat.

I'll quote a friend of mine:
I dunno, maybe "The official source of being able to use your God-given eyes for SFA and Assault, and then understanding that making decisions like this based on Command is like looking at St. Anger and then decreeing that Lars Ulrich has always played garbage cans for drums".
I mean, look at Katt. She's a cat. Does she have the same facial contours as Krystal denoting species? No? We're through here. :3

Why do people always end their argumentative comments with "Ha, I win" statements?
That's actually very rude and annoying.
I'm not basing it on the art. I'm basing it on what is said by Nintendo employees themselves.
Not only that, Katt also used to look like Roxi cat. Now she's grey and...asian looking... meaning, they changed her look.
Like I said to you before. Maybe they wanted her to look like what she really is? Otherwise she'd have the same facial structure as Fox. 9_6

Up until Command, she did, sort of. Her muzzle was shorter, but was -way- more candid than feline. With Command, anything so ultra-caricatured really shouldn't be used as example in a debate about facial contours. And really, who in their right mind would change a character design mid-series like they did with Katt (and to a degree, Krystal, as well as Bill), anyway? It's why so many people do not want Command to be considered canon and why they should reboot the series, at the very least, from the ending of StarFox Assault, because Dylan and all the people behind Command tried to please the fans and failed miserably, probably because they wanted to prove Nintendo doesn't give a rat's ass about StarFox. *Shrugs*
Nintendo doesn't give a rat's ass about anything.
F-zero's made by Sega now. (whibi actually makes sense speedwise)
A few of the Zelda games were made by Capcom.
Metroid: Other M is being made by Team Ninja.
SF Adventures was made by Rare.
SF Assault was made by Namco.
And SF Command was made by ...I forgot...
None of the good franchises besides Mario have been entirely made by Nintendo.
Actually...SF64 was the only Starfox game made entirely by Nintendo. The first two were made by Argonauts, I think.
