Sketchbook 057: Belladonna Mawshot

Yet another sketch that I did in college that I planned to color but never got around to it.
I really like how the tongue came out on this one. That, and the facial expression I'm in love with. I must confess that I have an extreme weakness for saliva. I love drawing it so whenever I do a mawshot I always make it a point to do as much saliva as I can without making it look to excessive.
Also, Belladonna is SO nostalgic for me. An All Dogs Christmas Carol is one of my favorite childhood movies and it still is a tradition for me and my brother to watch it every Christmas.

Always nice to see Belladonna, but seeing her sweet and lovely maw is an even better treat. Really loving the look on her face, and I admit that I am a sucker for some saliva as well, and that tongue is so awesome it looks so touchable. Seriously that maw looks so warm and inviting
