Sketchbook 059: Secret Friends

Back when I was in high school, Arashi no Yoru ni was probably my favorite movie. It's a wonder why I haven't drawn any pictures of Gabu and/or Mei before this one. This is also another old sketch so it doesn't reflect my current style as much but I really wanted to upload this. Funny thing, I thought this sketch was lost forever because I lost the sketchbook that this was stored in until finding it earlier this week.
I am really pleased with how Gabu turned out. Mei....eh...not so much. I don't know. Something about him seems off to me.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy.
