Fanart for my favorite PlayStation1 game series of all time, Spyro the Dragon <3 back when...the spyro games were good. <U

ANYWAY this fawn lady is Elora, who is your main guide throughout the second Spyro game, Ripto's Rage. I always really liked her--she had a great voice and seemed intelligent, helpful, and brave, without being overbearing like a lot of NPCs can so easily become. Ripto's Rage was my favorite game of the first trilogy, as a kid. I can't tell you how many hours I spent running around the peaceful, quiet overworlds, gliding between tall towers, swimming in crystal-clear pools, eating various fodder, and listening to the music--it really took me away to magical places, and I so often wished I really was a dragon living in such an isolated, peaceful place.

I DID use a screenshot from the second Spyro game for the BG because I found the perfect shot that captures the calm beauty of Summer Forest.
