Though I've yet to draw any of my own artwork of this bab, I am very much in love with him and wanted to post something of him :3

So using qutens lineart, I made this ref for him!

Purkle is based off Toucannon, a Pokémon introduced in the Sun and Moon series. I love this Pokémon, though I'm not entirely happy he ended up being the final evolution of Pikipek - the sudden change from woodpecker to toucan seemed off to me. I think he work better as a stand alone Pokémon but meh, I still love him.

Purkle's specific colours are based off Toucannon's shiny form. When I looked over the shiny forms of all the Pokémon I knew immediately that I wanted to shiny hunt him. I now have a shiny Pikipek to evolve, so it won't be long! I do plan on making him a twin based off Toucannon's natural colours too.
